VENDOR APPLICATION

If you’re interested in participating as a vendor at the Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival, please read the vendor guidelines below and complete this form so we can learn more about what you offer and why you might be a good fit for the event.

Space is limited for a variety of vendors. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment (tables, tent, etc.) and set up.

VENDOR FEE: $150 | FOOD TRUCK: $250

If your vendor application is approved, vendor fee payment will be required along with a vendor agreement and proof of vendor insurance. Participating vendors will be listed on the Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival event page.

VENDOR GUIDELINES

All Vendors/Info Tables:  If you are giving items away, we ask that you be mindful of their health and environmental footprint.  Items that are largely for promotional purposes, that may end up in the grass or garbage are not ideal for give-aways at this Festival.  Please consider where items are made (preferably in the USA), how they are made, and whether they may benefit someone from an environmental or health perspective.  If you are not sure whether you should offer something as a give-away -- please feel free to ask us.

Prohibited Items: the following items are NOT allowed at ANYTIME during the Festival. If prohibited items are present, used or sold, the vendor may be asked to leave the Festival grounds immediately, and may not be invited back in the future.  These guidelines will be strictly enforced!

  • Single-Use Plastic Bags: If you must use bags please offer post - consumer content paper bags or boxes

  • Single-Use Plastic Bottles: Water dispensers provided by Sleepy Hollow environmental groups will be available to refill reusable water bottles at the event

  • Plastic Straws: only paper or other compostable straws will be allowed but we truly prefer none at all. 

  • Plastic "give-aways": typically used for marketing purposes

  • Mass marketing "give-aways": Please refrain from offering knickknacks/doodads/trinkets. Items must be environmentally friendly. Please contact us to be certain that they will be allowable.

  • Styrofoam (anything)

  • Balloons of any kind
