The Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival costume contest will take place during the parade starting at 1:00pm and winners announced by the South Stage after the parade.

Judges will be by the parade route and scoring participants in the following categories - Individual (adult), Group, and Kids. Prizes will feature gift certificates to Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown shops and restaurants as well as other amazing local goodies.

Festival attendees who would like to take part in the costume contest must register as a land parade participant. There will be limited registration for the costume contest on the day of the event so please register in advance.

All costume contest contestants will receive a reminder email in advance to head to the parade registration table to pick up their parade number which they will flash by judges during the parade.
